چکیده
Abstract The electric distribution system (EDS) is prone to faults leading power interruptions. present energy market demands that electricity utilities invest more in different measures improve the performance of EDS. approach proposed here details a composite dual-phased methodology reliability and efficiency delivered by In first phase, optimal allocation auto-reclosers (AR) undertaken employing newly formulated algorithm. determination total number location for AR placement based on economic analysis two factors, i.e., investment-maintenance cost benefit earned terms improvement due placement. also takes into account impact outages load types, growth rate, inflation rate. Further, enhance AR-incorporated EDS, technique Radial Distribution System Remodelling employed second phase. This method searches radial configuration delivers at minimum line losses. These phases comprising complex combinatorial operations are aided fresh hybrid Sine Cosine Algorithm, Krill Herd genetic operator Differential Evolution. results obtained from its application IEEE 69-bus test prove credibility suggested formulation.

متن کاملA Customer Oriented Approach for Distribution System Reliability Improvement using Optimal Distributed Generation and Switch Placement
The reliability of distribution networks is inherently low due to their radial nature, consequently distribution companies (DisCos) usually seek to improve the system reliability indices with the minimum possible investment cost. This can be known as system-oriented reliability planning (SORP). However, there can exist some customers that are not satisfied by their reliability determined by ado...
